Distilleries are always great attractions, and Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery is no different. There is more than just a guided tour of the distillery on offer, with the opportunity for visitors to relax in the café and whisky lounge.
The café offers great food all made from local produce with sandwiches, soups and afternoon tea available. Alternatively, you could choose to relax in the whisky lounge, purchasing a dram or tasting flight from the bar, all under the guidance of staff who really know their stuff when it comes to whisky.
The onsite distillery shop gives you the opportunity to buy from the full John Dewar & Sons Fine Whisky Emporium range. There’s also the exclusive single cask fill your own bottle option.
Dewar’s offers a range of great experiences, so they really do have all the bases covered. The photography and cask tasting tour is priced at £17, and you get the rare chance of photographing the whisky stills while tasting from a cask.
The distillery tour is £9.50 with an expert guide taking you around the distillery, and there’s a tasting opportunity in the whisky lounge. The cask tasting tour is £17, and you get the chance to taste the exclusive single malt with a complimentary glass on offer too. If you’re a whisky connoisseur, you may wish to buy a ticket for the specialist tour priced at £27. You get the chance to taste a range of the finest whiskies in the lounge. The blender’s tour is £75 with a full cask tour and then the chance to create your own blend to take home.
Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery is open seven days a week and is accessible by car with parking available on site.
